We walked over to an estate sale in a really arty view house near the freeway entrance, lots of african masks and beautiful views of the lake and city. I picked up a little mead making book printed in England 1970 as well as two recipes for dandelion wine and cherry wine, fire bellows, and a glass blown plant ornament, and a bottle stopper. Any way the book is making mead by: Bryan Acton & Peter Duncan, published by the "Amateur Winemaker" North Croye, The Avenue, Andover, Hants. sbn 900841 07 9 Great Britain. It's got some interesting ideas and points of view, I'll use it for some inspiration in mixtures and possible metheglins. it was a beautiful day and good fun as well.
