If I lose a friend
I will keep the memory
If you love someone
You have to set them free
If someone has to pay the price
Let it be me
If I am not a good enough friend
Set me free

When Will I see you again
When will I be your friend

When I wrote this I had two very dear friends in mind that I could really see it coming at me but I couldn't really see which way either of them would come forward on these very different circumstances. I will report here that 50% of my friendship is missing now. I imply in the verse that I am open to reprisal or revisiting the misunderstanding.
